Strength in sisterhood: Physiotherapist Chantelle Wills launches her practice in Umhlali

Surrounded by loved ones, she expressed gratitude for the unwavering support that fuelled her courage.

Physiotherapist Chantelle Wills was surrounded by friends and family for the launch of her practice ‘Pelvic Health with Chanty’ in Umhlali last week.

Chanty has worked locally alongside Lulu Becker in Umhlanga and Camilla Paterson in Salt Rock for the past four years before taking the bold step of establishing her own business.

Despite the tragic loss of her husband Jonni and his friend Sean Coomer in a car accident four months ago, Chanty has drawn strength from her supportive community.

Both families reside in Palm Lakes.

Mandy Gray, Hayley Lombard, Emily Smithers and Jane Armstrong.

Chanty said she remained indebted to the army of women who had gathered around her, giving her the courage to face every day since.

She made special mention of close friend Danelle Terblanche and sister-in-law Stephanie Wills who played pivotal roles in helping her establish the practice.

Significantly, a number of women came together on Valentine’s Day for a morning of pilates and yoga to raise funds for the practice.
