Analyst and author Phumlani Majozi to address iLembe business breakfast on overcoming challenges in South Africa

Majozi will delve into the present and the future, evaluating the challenges South Africans face and proposing solutions that can speed up economic progress.

South Africa’s history is full of heroes who, despite overwhelming circumstances, uplifted the lives of countless people around them.

Economic and political analyst, speaker, and author, Phumlani Majozi, argues that these inspiring stories should be more widely shared as a reminder to “ordinary” South Africans that people just like them have the power to make a difference despite the formidable challenges the country currently faces.

Majozi – who originally hails from Groutville – will be the guest speaker at the popular Business@Breakfast event hosted by the iLembe Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, The Robert Group and The North Coast Courier on March 14 at the Ballito Junction.

In his talk, Majozi will delve into the present and the future; evaluating the challenges South Africans face and proposing solutions that can speed up their economic progress.

“We are very excited to again be able to give our local business community the opportunity to connect with influential voices of Phumlani’s calibre,” said iLembe Chamber CEO, Cobus Oelofse.

A regular pundit on national and internation news media, Majozi also serves on the boards of the South African Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR), the South African Institute of Business Accountants (SAIBA), Social Research Foundation (SRF), and Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA). He is also a council member at the SAIRR.

In 2016 and 2017 he was selected by Avance Media as one of the 100 Most Influential Young South Africans.

Seats are limited. The cost is R125 for Chamber members and R175 for non-members, which includes a pastry breakfast.
