This week marked the commencement of the 2024 academic year, and the atmosphere was filled with cheerful smiles as North Coast schools opened their doors.
Crawford International North Coast College welcomed both returning and new students for the start of the 2024 academic year this week. More than 100 new pupils enrolled across all phases. Campus Head Samantha Smit said there has been a renewed interest in the school for this year owing to improved accessibility with the M4 Tongaat River bridge reopening and the excellent academic results.
Umhlali Prep staff dressed up in hats to add to the fun of the first day back at the school. They were waiting along the road outside the school, in the car parks and inside the school, waving to parents and pupils in greeting as they arrived.
There were happy faces all round at Ashton International College on Tuesday when the school opened for the new academic year.
