KwaDukuza’s dedicated law enforcement given a thumbs up

A notable 167 people were taken into custody for outstanding warrants. In the course of 16 multi-disciplinary operations, which included roadblocks, law enforcement issued 923 fines for various offenses.

The KwaDukuza crime prevention unit, in collaboration with various law enforcement agencies, were commended by ratepayers’ associations for their exceptional efforts during the holidays.

Throughout the festive season, they carried out 84 vehicle checkpoints, leading to the arrest of 36 motorists for driving under the influence.

Additionally, four stolen vehicles were recovered and six arrests made.

Tinley Manor resident Xavier Singh was delighted with the crowd control measures at the beach, describing them as the best ever experienced.

He also praised Saps for their active presence in safeguarding the area until the early hours of the morning.

Singh highlighted the unprecedented peace and harmony experienced throughout the holiday season, extending gratitude to all uniformed personnel for their dedicated service.

Blythedale and Zinkwazi ratepayers’ associations echoed similar sentiments, reporting a positive season and expressing appreciation for the collaborative efforts of KwaDukuza crime prevention, the police and other law enforcement agencies.
