A KwaDukuza Municipality electrician died after being electrocuted in Ballito on Tuesday.

The man, believed to be 50 years old, was electrocuted while working at a substation opposite Hilltop and Zimbali Lakes.

He was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
