Beauty with a purpose

Working in conjunction with The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund, 12 NGOs supported by the Orphan Fund were visited over two days where 15 000 packs were delivered for distribution among young women.

A Ballito beauty pageant’s “Keep a Girl Child in School” campaign went into overdrive last week when 15 000 hygiene products were distributed to iLembe district NGOs.

Under the theme “beauty with a purpose”, the SA Beauty Modelling Academy’s recent Miss North Coast KZN pageant collected 25 000 sanitary packs.

Working in conjunction with The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund, 12 NGOs supported by the Orphan Fund were visited over two days where 15 000 packs were delivered for distribution among young women.

The remaining 10 000 packs will be distributed at schools next month.

Miss North Coast KZN 2023, Aimee Basson, joined last week’s initiative, while BMW Ballito sponsored the transport.
