KwaDukuza entrepreneurs receive much needed support
Throughout November, the municipality promoted entrepreneurship by hosting a series of events, training sessions and seminars.
The KwaDukuza Entrepreneurship Month concluded on a triumphant note as 30 small businesses received essential working equipment last Tuesday.
These entrepreneurs represent diverse sectors, including agriculture, creative industries, manufacturing, construction, food and hospitality, services, clothing and textiles, as well as the automotive industry.
KwaDukuza mayor Lindi Nhaca also introduced a driver’s license programme designed to empower young people seeking employment opportunities and who need a driver’s license.
This initiative aligns with the municipality’s commitment to providing practical support to the youth entering the workforce.
Nhaca underscored the shared vision of prosperity for the people of KwaDukuza.
She reiterated the municipality’s dedication to bridging the gap for marginalised entrepreneurs, emphasising the importance of community collaboration and support.
She congratulated the beneficiaries and thanked the stakeholders who played a role in making the month-long initiative a success.
