Tiger’s Milk adds to Eat Street offering at Ballito Lifestyle Centre

The popular restaurant chain opened its first North Coast location today. Make sure to see it for yourself!

Popular Cape Town restaurant chain Tiger’s Milk has made its first foray into the North Coast market at the Ballito Lifestyle Centre.

The new venue officially opened its doors today on the Lifestyle Centre’s Eat Street restaurant corridor.

It will join three other Tiger’s Milk locations in KwaZulu-Natal – at Umhlanga, Suncoast and Hilton, and 24 others across the country.

Built on the back of burgers and beer, Tiger’s Milk has grown to 28 stores countrywide.

The chain started in Muizenberg, Cape Town, in 2014 and grew with its mantra of providing ‘dude food, made real good’.

“We took a neglected site in the famous Muizie’s Surfers Corner, added some beer, burgers and benzine, threw in a match, lit the flame and our fire’s been burning ever since,” said Life and Brand commercial marketing director, Grant Dutton.

Aside from their burger and pizza specialties, Tiger’s Milk is also well-known as a vibey place to grab a few cocktails with friends.

If you’re not hungry, grab a cocktail instead.

“The restaurant is in a stunning location in a prime position! The setting is conducive to sunny breakfasts, long lunches, sundowners, a casual dinner with friends, or a nightcap against the backdrop of good music,” said Life and Brand head of marketing, Jolene Strydom.

Lifestyle Centre owner, Bruce Rencken, said he welcomed the addition of Tiger’s Milk and the added dimension it would bring to Eat Street.

The restaurant is open 8am until late daily, and you can find more information at ballitolifestylecentre.co.za/store-directory/food/dining/tigers-milk/.
