KwaDukuza Private Hospital denies rumours of closure

Management demands a public retraction and apology from the TV station responsible for spreading false information.

The KwaDukuza Private Hospital has denied rumours circulating on social media that the hospital will close its doors this year.

The rumours were sparked by a post on a TV station’s Facebook page on Tuesday.

In response, hospital general manager Vino Moodley said the allegation was “unsubstantiated, unfounded, ill-informed and damaging to the hospital’s reputation and management team”.

Moodley said they have demanded a public retraction and apology from the station responsible for spreading false information.

KwaDukuza Private Hospital, a 70-bed facility located on Theunissen Road in KwaDukuza, opened its doors in 2018.
