Eskom escalates loadshedding to stage 4
Cold weather has increased the demand on the national grid.
Eskom will increase the level of loadshedding from 2 to 4 at 3pm today.
The state-owned utility, Eskom took to Twitter to warn of the increase.
Eskom to implement Stage 4 loadshedding from 15:00 until 22:00 tonight as power system is

Stage 4 will continue until 10pm tonight.
Loadshedding will persist throughout the weekend, the utility said.
“Eskom teams will work around the clock to return as many of these generation units to service as soon as possible.”

KwaDukuza Northern Grid (Tinley Manor to Zinkwazi): 8pm – 10pm
Tongaat CBD: 8am to 10am
Tongaat Beach: 8pm to 10pm
Mandini (16): 3pm to 4.30pm
Mandini (A): 3pm to 4.30pm
Mandini (B): 6pm to 8.30pm
Belvedere Tongaat: No loadshedding
