Call for Dolphin Coast residents to register to vote

Those who have not yet collected their ID's from Home Affairs are encouraged to do so, as no other form of ID will be accepted.

Play your part in the future of our country by registering to vote in the upcoming national and provincial elections.

Dolphin Coast residents who are eligible to vote are urged to diarise January 26 and 27, as this will be the final voter registration weekend.

All voting stations will be open from 8am to 5pm for new voters to register and for existing voters to update and check their registration details.

To find out where you need to register, simply visit maps.elections.org.za/vsfinder/ and fill in your physical address.

You will need a green, barcoded South African ID book, smart ID card, or valid Temporary Identity Certificate (TIC).

Those who have not yet collected their ID’s from Home Affairs are encouraged to do so, as no other form of ID (passport, driver’s licence, certified copy of ID) will be accepted.

If you have already registered and are still residing in the same area, you can avoid the queues and confirm your details by logging in online here: elections.org.za/MyIEC/Account/Login

Darnall councillor Roy Naidoo encourages residents to register and check their details over the final registration weekend.

“Voters, please vote wisely. Discernment is crucial in the national elections this year to ensure that we progress as a renowned nation and our constitutional rights are upheld.”
