A safe place for children comes to Driefontein

The completion of the project will amount to approximately R955 000

In an effort to provide education and a safe facility for young children, KwaDukuza mayor Ricardo Mthembu committed to building a community creche facility in Driefontein last Thursday.

The completion of the project will amount to about R955 000.

Ahead of the opening of this project, Mthembu underlined the commitments that have been maintained by the president on education.

“Children remain the most important assets in society, while education does not form part of our key service delivery mandate as local government, it is essential for us to act on government priorities as articulated by the president in his 2017 State of the Nation Address.”

“This is among the many efforts we have made to ensure early childhood development, which lays a foundation for a prosperous future of this great nation.”
