The voting process was without violence in KwaDukuza and except for the power going off at Salt Rock and Tinley Manor last night, were without incident.
All but four wards of 29 are accounted for.
Wards 1, 7, 12 and 21 are still to submit their complete results.
Overall the ANC leads with 62.83% (compared with 69.9% in 2011), followed by the DA with 20.07% (compared to 14.05% in 2011) and the IFP with 6.53% (compared to 7.44% in 2011).

There were a high number of spoilt votes in Ward 23 (124) , Ward 9 (113) Ward 27 (103), Ward 4 (98) and Ward 2 (93).
In 2011 Ward 2 was won by the ANC with 73.54% whereas this year an Independent won with 40.01%.
The ANC looks set to lose Ward 21 (Ballito south) to the DA who lead with 44.27% this year but the votes from the third and final voting station at Akbar Trading in this ward are still pending.
Ward 27 which was also taken from the ANC by an Independent with 51.62%.
The DA won Ward 16 in 2011 with 27.65% but lost it this year to the ANC who lead with 47.41%.
