A ‘baaad’ idea busted by alert cops

Man arrested for stock theft after four goats found crammed into car boot.

A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with stock theft after police found four goats crammed into the boot of his car on Saturday.

The discovery was made during a routine patrol by Glendale police on the P104 road within the Glendale policing precinct.

According to iLembe police spokesperson, Captain Alex Thomson, officers became suspicious of a car parked on the side of the road.

Upon investigation, they found the tightly bound goats inside the boot.

The man failed to provide a valid explanation for transporting livestock in such a manner and he was arrested.

The vehicle was seized and the goats rescued.
