Engen Ballito is the North Coast’s favourite service station.
In all three years that The North Coast Courier Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards have been run and publicly voted for, Engen Ballito has taken home a full house of three awards.
This year’s results proved no different and Engen Ballito was again awarded as the Best Fuel Filling Station, Best Convenience Store and Best Car Wash.

That dominance is no fluke, as the service station continuously works to better their offering and give wide ranging options to their loyal customers.
“Engen Ballito has been trading since 2003 and has come a long way since, evolving to a busy retail hub which includes the forecourt and Quickshop but also Barcelos, Woolworths, Barristers Coffee, bakery, car wash and trailer hire,” said Ramperthab.
“The convenience of 24-hour service combined with the super service and warmth from the team really encompasses what we stand for. It truly is a one stop shop where you feel safe and appreciated.”
Aside from its offering on site, Engen Ballito has become known as a benefit to its wider community through the charitable causes it supports.
They support Woman On a Mission and have responded to various drives as the need arose, including recent tornado relief in Tongaat and The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.
It is that community spirit which has driven Engen Ballito in its 21 years of operation, under the leadership of Ramperthab and business partner Mark Jason.
