Andile Vilakazi, a talented basketball player, won a sports scholarship to study at the University of Barcelona.
Alexandra High School, founded in 1960, is a co-ed non-racial school in the heart of Pietermaritzburg.
With excellent academic and sporting facilities, Alexandra High is one of the top performing ex-Model C schools in the province.

Recent standout achievements at Alexandra High School include multiple awards by Yongama Tenza Nkosinami Seroke and Lwandile Myeza at the Eskom KZN Regional
Science Expo held in Durban in August 2019.

Asanda Dladla was selected for the KZN Netball team in 2018 and continues to represent the school at provincial level.
She will travel to Australia later this year for an international tournament.
