Department of Sports and Recreation aids local soccer teams

The teams had just competed against each other at the Groutville market sports field. Development's co-ordinator Vusi Dlamini thanked the department for the support.

Last weekend eight under 15 soccer teams under the Etete/Groutville sport development side received sports equipment from the department of sport and recreation.

“We are very grateful for the help and this equipment will make a huge difference in our club development. We also looking forward to the coaching and first aid that we were promised by the department,” said Dlamini.

The development side was formed in 2016 by Dlamini and other residents from Groutville and Etete, to help young boys enjoy the sport.
