Grade 7s and 12s arrived for their first day back at school on Monday at Umhlali Preparatory School and Ashton International College on Monday.

Social distancing, masks and regular hand sanitizing were the new normal for the pupils navigating school amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The school’s outstanding grades are expected to return next month.
