Cheers to animal welfare!

The party went from zero to 60 in minutes when the team from Specialised Rescue Unit opened the beer pong tables.

Beer pong, live music and excellent company took the Sables beer fest, held at Cane Cutters resort in Sheffield Beach on Saturday, July 9, to the next level of awesome.

The festivities, in aid of Sables Creatures, got under way rather slowly at 2pm with cold weather and rain threatening to put people’s mood on ice.

However, people kept pouring into the beer garden and they could not resist the lure of a variety of ice cold craft beers on tap alongside established brand name favourites on ice and warm food from the Mozambik mobile kitchen.

The party went from zero to 60 in minutes when the team from Specialised Rescue Unit opened the beer pong tables.

While the adults frequented the beer garden, kids had their faces painted and expended all their energy, playing on the jungle gyms and trampoline.
