Umhlali weekend crime report

A man was shot three times last Friday at Shaka's Head when two men hijacked him

From carjacking to murder, Umhali SAPS reported the following crimes over the weekend:

* A burglary took place last Friday at Etete. Items valued at R16900 were stolen.

* A laptop and iPad valued at R15 000 was stolen from a car parked at a restaurant in Ballito last Friday.

* One case of domestic assault was reported last Friday night at Sheffield.

* A case of carjacking and murder is being investigated. A man was shot three times last Friday at Shaka’s Head when two men hijacked him.

* Sexual assault allegedly took place at a creche in Etete on Sunday against an eight year old girl.

* A case of theft was opend on Saturday when two cellphones were stolen at Salt Rock.

* 11 possession of dagga cases were opened in the past week.
