The R102 is strewn with burning tyres, boulders, railings and trees.
Etete protesters have blocked the R102.
Protesters have broken railings from the side of the road and laid them across the tarmac together with burning tyres, boulders and trees.
Umhlali SAPS spokesman, Vinny Pillay said they were waiting for the public order police to arrive to disperse the protestors.
The R102 is closed.
Residents of Etete protested on Sunday, and returned to the streets this early morning.
