High Tea for a good cause at Ballito church

Ballito Gesinskerk raises funds to support the church's outreach programmes.

The ladies of Ballito Gesinskerk, in conjuction with the national ‘Solidariteit Helpende Hand’ community development organisation, had their annual High Tea function on Saturday in aid of the church’s outreach programme.

Suzette Potgieter, Susan de Wit, Hannetjie Stals, Jeanette Fourie, Tanya Coetsee, Michelle Loynes, Babs Levanious and Breggie Bester.

The guest speaker was Yolande Brittnel-Steyn of the popular Facebook blog “Sit die ketel aan”, who inspired attendees to accept the challenges life throws at them.

More than 120 women attended, each bringing a gift to be included in the church’s outreach to Gardenview Retirement Village in October.
