Ballito’s first Tequila and Mexican Food Fest draws crowds and praise
The festival has been held five times in Pretoria since its first iteration in 2018.
Ballito’s first Tequila and Mexican Food Fest proved a hit with locals and tourists alike last weekend.
Hosted at Sheffield’s Manor House venue on Saturday, the event offered a variety of cuisine via food trucks and a packed line-up of music artists.
December Streets, Desmond and the Tutus, Droomsindroom and Francois van Coke, among others, all performed to a large crowd over the course of the afternoon.
The festival has been held five times in Pretoria since its first iteration in 2018 and has grown to become one of Gauteng’s best loved.
Ballito was picked as the location for the first expansion and it proved a smart choice by organisers given its popularity.
