KwaDukuza beaches to reopen tomorrow

Swimming has been banned since Thursday due to rough sea conditions.

KwaDukuza lifeguard superintendent Bongani Xulu said bathing at all KwaDukuza beaches will be allowed from tomorrow morning.

Swimming has been banned since Thursday due to rough sea conditions.

The affected beaches include Zinkwazi, Blythedale, Salt Rock, Thompson’s, Willard, and Clark Bay.

Xulu emphasised that the water is still dirty and there is a lot of debris in the water, making it unsafe for swimming.

However, they are closely monitoring the water, and conditions were improving.

As a result, they plan to open the beaches tomorrow morning.
