New children’s book ‘There’s a Tiger on the Train’ offers a timely reminder of connection over screen time.

The book can be used as a conversation starter on screen time limits for the whole family.

There’s a Tiger on the Train’ by Mariesa Dulak and Rebecca Cobb is an utterly delightful story with a warning for parents: life, and childhood, will pass you by if you cannot put away your phone.

The picture book is wonderfully illustrated and will appeal to children aged four to eight.

This is a fun story to read aloud and the children are sure to laugh at all the fantastical events that take place while dad is absorbed in his phone.

I love how simply the authors bring across their message without being preachy. You can use the book as a conversation starter on screen time limits for the whole family.
