Distinctions for giving!
The donated items included shoes, socks, T-shirts, half jerseys, full jerseys, and school ties.
If generosity were a matric subject, 28 young people from Groutville High would score distinctions!
They have marked the end of their long school journey by donating their uniforms back to the school to help their less fortunate peers in the coming year.
Typically, it had become a norm for matriculants to personalise or damage their uniforms as a way of celebrating the completion of their high school exams.
However, these pupils showed a commendable spirit of kindness and consideration for others.
The donated items included shoes, socks, T-shirts, half jerseys, full jerseys, and school ties.
