Ballito Halloween Maze of Horrors goes Boo!

Even the Courier could not help to suppress a few screams when boogeymen jumped out with menace.

No, you are not to be trapped in a bad joke but rather the terrifying Ballito Halloween Maze of Horrors which drew nervous screams of delight last weekend.

Hosted by Mozambik Ballito on the second floor of the Balvista Centre, the horror showcase was in support of a good cause, with funds raised over the weekend going towards Sables Creatures.

Nevesh, Serene (13), Ariana (9) and Trisha Rangiah.

More than R37 000 was raised and will help to sterilise, vaccinate and house animals across the North Coast.

But thoughts of happy pets were far from people’s minds when entering the impressively scary maze, replaced by fun and fear in equal measure.

The play area proved a welcome reprieve for shattered nerves and offered younger Halloween fans a chance to join in on the party.
