Baritone Federico Freschi in concert with pianist Christopher Duigan at All Souls Anglican Church

The concert will be held this Sunday.

Much-loved pianist Christopher Duigan has announced the return of popular baritone, Federico Freschi, to perform at All Souls Anglican Church, Sheffield, this Sunday.

After a four-year sojourn in New Zealand, Federico will entertain locals with a splendid selection of his favourite ‘highlights-only’ repertoire from the world of opera and musicals.

This will include favourites from the operas ‘Carmen’, ‘Barber of Seville’ and ‘Marriage of Figaro’, and from musicals such as ‘South Pacific’ and ‘My Fair Lady’. He will also perform inspirational numbers such as ‘You Raise Me Up’, ‘The Holy City’, and a selection from the Cole Porter songbook.

Duigan will play romantic favourites from a vast piano repertoire, including Liszt-Liebestraum No. 3, Chopin-Nocturnes, Debussy-Rêverie and Sinding’s Rustle of Spring!

Freschi has performed with the CAPAB Singers’ Studio and has appeared in a number of operas, operettas and musicals.
