Local artistic flair on display at Umhlali Methodist Church

The photographs on show were all by members of the Ballito Photo Club, organised by Rung Button, and the paintings were all from local artists, co-ordinated by Wendy Fundudis.

A unique collection of paintings and photography was exhibited in Umhlali this past weekend to raise funds for next year’s centenary celebrations of the Umhlali Methodist Church.

In spite of the rainy weather, the exhibition attracted good support from locals. Many visitors told organiser June Haskell that they wanted to see more exhibitions by local artists and photographers as there is a wealth of talent in the area.
