Car crashes into Salt Rock storefront

Elderly couple escapes unharmed, but shop assistant sustains minor injuries.

An elderly couple earlier this afternoon crashed their car into a storefront at the new Salt Rock Shopping Centre.

While the couple escaped unharmed, a shop assistant was injured.

Medi Response’s Paul Herbst said as a precaution the shop assistant was taken to hospital for further care.

The cause of the crash was reported to be accidental and no further injuries were reported.
