#AtTheNet: Kevin and Paul dish up a massive serve

The men's 3rd team ended on a high with the inclusion of two super subs - Paul Holmes and Kevin Essery, who took no prisoners.

Last week saw the completion of all the men’s and ladies leagues.

The ladies competed in the midweek Hillcrest trophy where our 2nd side won the first division and our 1st team came third.

In the second division our 3rd team won the spoils with an impressive unbeaten record.

Well done to all the ladies who took part in the league making a huge success once again.

The men’s 3rd team ended on a high with the inclusion of two super subs – Paul Holmes and Kevin Essery, who took no prisoners.

The Belview side were stunned by Kevin’s massive serve and huge ground strokes setting up Paul at the net.

The couple smashed the opposition 6-0, 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0.

Next year’s selection committee better be taking notes .

Saturday’s perfect weather complimented the four courts of social run by our chairman Neville Wright.

Please join us next week from 1.30pm for a fun afternoon with friends.
