A manhunt has been launched after two farm attacks in Bronkhorstspruit. In two separate incidences, families were tied up and their valuables were stolen, Centurion Rekord reports.
The first incident occurred at around 20:00 on Friday 16 February in the Bronkhorstspruit dam area east of Pretoria, where a couple and their children were asleep.

Four armed men overpowered the family and tied them up. They stole a TV, cellphones and a vehicle.
The family sustained only minor injuries.
The second incident occurred at around 03:00 in the early hours after Saturday morning near the R42 in Bronkhorstspruit.
Five armed men killed the family dogs. They then overpowered the three people inside and tied them up.
Laptops, cellphones and a TV were stolen.
The victims were only able to free themselves at around 06:00 in the morning and had sustained serious injuries.
SAPS spokesperson Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said no arrests had been made so far, but that the cases are under investigation.
Shawn Scott from the Bronkhorstspruit neighbourhood watch said they are doing all they can to assist the SAPS in catching the people responsible for the crimes.
