The city will provide three water tankers which will be travelling around the affected areas.

Residents of Ekuruleni have been warned there would be water supply interruptions in Clayville on Wednesday.

“The city of Ekurhuleni wishes to inform customers in Clayville of a planned water supply interruption scheduled for Wednesday, 16 January from 9am to 5pm,” said city spokesperson Themba Gadebe in a terse statement on Friday.

“The interruption is due to the water pressure test the city will be conducting in all Clayville extensions, excluding extension 45.”

Gadebe said the city of Ekurhuleni will provide three water tankers, which “will be roving around the affected areas”.

The city has apologised for any inconvenience the water supply interruptions might cause.
