President Mzwandile Makwayiba and general secretary Zola Saphetha say they will open the criminal case on behalf of the union.

The National Education Health and Allied Workers’ Union said on Monday it would open a case of corruption against the Eastern Cape department of transport in King Williams Town.

Nehawu president Mzwandile Makwayiba and general secretary Zola Saphetha said they would open the criminal case on behalf of the union.

“Information and evidence at our disposal will also be handed over to the Hawks (Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation) and the office of the public protector for further investigation,” Makwabiysa said.
