Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema and senior members of the party will pay AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo a visit on Saturday at East London Maximum Correctional Centre, the party said on Friday.

EFF Spokesperson, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi said: “This is a courtesy visit to see if the King is well. There might be political issues raised in the conversation or there might be any. However, we will inform the media afterwards.”

Eastern Cape Correctional Services spokesperson Zama Feni confirmed the visit.

“The EFF will indeed visit King Dalindyebo on Saturday. We are expecting them at 12 o’clock at the West Bank prison,” said Feni

King Dalindyebo is serving a 12 year prison term after being convicted by the Mthatha High Court in December of assault, kidnapping and arson.
