Two killed in Northern Cape crash

Two people were killed when their car struck a cow outside Kuruman in the Northern Cape, paramedics said on Wednesday.

The driver and passenger were killed on Tuesday on the R31 about 10km towards Danielskuil, said ER24 spokesman Christo Venter.

“The force of the impact caused the hatchback to overturn and only come to a standstill about 400m away.”

A woman in her 30s and a man in his 40s were declared dead on the scene.

The cow was also killed.
