The party also says it does not support ANCYL statement on Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

The African National Congress held an Extended National Working Committee meeting on Monday. Today, they held a briefing on the outcomes of the meeting.

Last week Wednesday, President Jacob Zuma removed Nhlanhla Nene as Finance Minister and appointed David van Rooyen as his successor, drawing criticism from the public and opposition parties.

President Zuma then decided to undo his previous decision to replace former minister Nhlanhla Nene with David van Rooyen by removing the latter and replacing him with Pravin Gordhan.

The #ZumaMustStillFall has been trending since, the ANC however, said it did not discuss the recalling of President Jacob Zuma.

The briefing was scheduled to start at 13h00.
