Wits students march urging exams to go ahead

A group of Students at Wits University  are marching in front of the Great Hall saying they want to write exams.

Students, whom majority  are final year students  said they could not afford to stay at Wits for another year.

Wits suspended  academic  activities again today saying they were still trying to find amicable  solutions to the demands of students  who said they want a free fee education.

The council of the university met today at Solomon house. However, they said it would call general assembly  tomorrow since they could not reach an agreement today.

Some students said, though, that they were not happy with the zero fee hikes as they were aiming for free education. They would, regardless, like a chance  to continue with examinations.
