Cyclist killed in NCape crash

A cyclist was killed when he collided with a trailer being towed by a bakkie in Kimberley, Northern Cape police said on Tuesday.

The man, who has not yet been identified, died on the scene, at the intersection of North Circular and Bultfontein roads, following the accident on Monday evening, Lieutenant Sergio Kock said.

He was a black man aged between 20 and 25, with a slender build, and approximately 1.6m tall. He was wearing a blue vest, blue jeans, and blue Nike sandals.

Anyone able to identify him was urged to contact the police.
