The video shows three young men milling around the bathroom smoking ‘marijuana’. One of them turns towards the stalls and soon after the ‘bouncer’ punches him in the face. He falls backwards, hitting the bathroom sink behind him before collapsing to the floor. The man, who has been identified as Shaun Myburgh, then hits the other two young men.

The video was reportedly first put up on his facebook wall where he claimed to work for Fourways Stones nightsclub, IOL reported. The post has since been taken down, but not before the video leaked on both YouTube and liveleak.com.

Georgina McCloughan, the managing director of the Stones franchise has denied he was employed by them. “He has definitely never been employed by, and will certainly never be employed by Stones.”

McCloughan said Myburgh returned to the club days later and told the manager he needed to view the footage because he had lost his cellphone in the bathroom, which is when he recorded the footage. She said all four men would be banned from the bar.

“The Stones policy is 100 percent of no drugs and no violence,” she said.

IOL could not trace Myburgh for comment.

The video, which has since gone viral, has elicited a flurry of response both on social media and on The Citizen’s original post.
