The SA Weather Service said a cold front is expected to reach the western parts of the country today which will result in cold, wet and windy conditions over the western and south-western parts.

The upper-air trough associated with this cold front will result in possible thunderstorms over the central parts of the country.

Cold to very cold conditions are expected to reach Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga by late afternoon and evening tomorrow.
