Three people reportedly escaped unharmed after the vehicle they were travelling in rolled numerous times before crashing into a townhouse complex’s wall in Krugersdorp, on the West Rand.

The vehicle rolled through the wall of the complex and damaged four other vehicles parked at the complex on Sunday, Krugersdorp News reported.

Chairperson for CPF Sector 8, Lindie Breet, said: “We received a callout from the neighbour opposite the road. On arrival, three occupants were seated outside the wrecked vehicle, and paramedics were treating them before they were rushed to hospital.”

Krugersdorp police spokesperson Constable Tshepiso Mashale said she was not aware of the matter and no complaint had been laid.

“We haven’t received such report. However, police will investigate,” added Mashale.

Earlier this month, a car “flew” into a house in KwaMakhutha township, south of Durban.

According to ER24 paramedics, when they arrived on the scene they found nobody was injured. Witnesses in the area said “the car was flying”.

“One person who was sleeping in the house was woken up by the car falling on the house,” said ER24 spokesperson Pieter Rossouw.

The driver of the vehicle explained he drove over a “ramp” of some sort, which led him to crash into the house.
