ER24 paramedics said the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle at Rand Show road. Paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the vehicle on its side, lying in a bush. “The vehicle was well alight.”

Fire and Rescue Services extinguished the fire, ER24 said. “One person was found close by to the completely burnt out car and four were found in the vehicle. Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could be done for them, all of them were sadly declared dead,” read the statement.

The exact cause of the accident was unknown, however, authorities were at the scene for further investigations.
