Sex scandal rocks the EFF

Secretary of the EFF North West Thabo Sehloho, accused of having sexual relations with fellow female party members, is seen here with fellow member of the provicial exectutive, Diseko Montsho. This image has been circulated on social networks.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has been rocked by a sex scandal involving top officials in the North West, resulting in a complaint being laid about the shenanigans.

Matters came to a head after a saucy picture of EFF North West acting secretary Thabo Sehloho and provincial command team member Diseko Montsho did the rounds on social media.

Apparently the picture was taken by an EFF member at Lowe Residence for members of the provincial legislature in Mafikeng a few months ago.

It is alleged the person who took the photo promised to delete the picture; however, it ended up circulating on social networks.

The photo was accompanied by a supposed press statement on the EFF Facebook page “Millions of Fighters Rallying behind CIC Julius Malema and EFF” revealing Sehloho and Montsho’s liaison.

Angered by the matter, Sehloho – who admits to being in a relationship with Montsho – laid a complaint with the EFF asking the party to act against the people who circulated what he said was a “sex video”.

Yesterday the matter was discussed by the top brass of the EFF, including Julius Malema.

However, owing to confusion over the post – Sehloho has claimed it was a sex video when in fact it was a saucy picture – Malema dismissed the matter.

EFF members interviewed by The Citizen alleged Montsho and Sehloho have been in a relationship for less than two months.

“Thabo is a married man … I don’t know about Montsho,” said an EFF member close to the couple’s affairs.

Another EFF member claimed the two were “just sleeping partners”.

Approached for comment Montsho said: “I don’t know who posted that picture. Please, I don’t want to talk about my life. It is my private life.

“I don’t want to talk about this.” said Sehloho.

Asked whether he was married, Sehloho said: “We are both not married. Montsho and I have been dating for over a year.”

According to the post, Sehloho “is not the only provincial executive member engaged in bedroom politics”. The EFF could not be reached for comment.
