Eastern Cape men held over rape

A 21-year-old man accused of raping a four-year-old girl has been arrested in Mqanduli, Eastern Cape police said on Thursday.

He was arrested in Ngcwala after allegedly raping the girl on Wednesday, said Major Zamukulungisa Jozana.

In a separate incident, a 30-year-old man accused of rape in Krakra, in Mqanduli, was also arrested on Wednesday.

He allegedly raped a 22-year-old woman who was walking home in Krakra forest.

The two would appear in the Mqanduli Magistrate’s Court on Friday, said Jozana.
