A 37-year-old unidentified man has been found dead in his house in Ramsgate, KwaZulu-Natal today.

Police spokesperson Captain Gerald Mfeka said police were notified, and upon investigation they found the man’s body lying face down on the floor. It appears he had been stabbed, South Coast Herald reported.

“From the state of the man’s room, a struggle appeared to have taken place,” added Mfeka.

Strangely, the house was locked, and the man’s car was gone, said Mfeka.

He said while police were on the scene, they were notified that the deceased’s car had been found abandoned in Bizana.

A case of murder is under investigation.

Last month, a 69-year-old man was found dead at his house in Shallcross, Durban.

Chatsworth police communications officer Lieutenant Cheryl Pillay said the man, Billy Pillay, was discovered inside his two-bedroom house by his friends and neighbours.
