Police are looking for a head of a headless man.

Police are looking for a head of a headless man.

Police officers used stun grenades in Manenberg on Saturday morning to quell a fighting between two rival gangs in the area, Western Cape police spokesman Andre Traut said.

“This morning at around 10:30 police took action when two groups of people shot at each other and also threw stones on the corner of Thames Avenue and Thames Walk, Manenberg,” Traut said.

“Stun grenades were used to defuse the situation, which is currently being monitored.”

No one was injured and no arrests were made.

“SAPS [SA Police Service] members will remain in the area to maintain law and order,” said Traut.

“We will not allow gangsters to practice their activities in our communities and put the lives of the public in danger.”
