Last week, a family from the Welbedacht area of Chatsworth, Durban, was left traumatised after allegedly witnessing the brutal murder of their sole breadwinner.
A group of men allegedly stoned and attacked Mzo Earnest Ndladla with a bush knife, grass slasher and the handle of a pick in front of his wife and three children.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Cheryl Pillay said: “On arrival at the scene, police found a man with an open wound to his forehead. It is alleged that there was a dispute between residents in the area”.
Two suspects aged 24 and 39 were later arrested.
