Police are searching for three women who allegedly raped a 21-year-old man at gunpoint in Diepsloot, northern Johannesburg.

Warrant Officer Daniel Mavimbela said the suspects picked up the victim in a white Toyota Tazz at a tuck shop in Extension 12 yesterday, Fourways Review reported.

The unidentified victim said the women claimed they had been lost.

Mavimbela said the victim was allegedly forced into the backseat, and the suspects drove away with the victim.

Mavimbela added the suspects then parked on the side of the R114.

According to the victim, one of the suspects undressed and forced him to have sexual intercourse with her at gunpoint.

After the ordeal, the victim was left on the side of the road, said Mavimbela.

Mavimbela said a case of rape was opened at Diepsloot Police Station.

Police are appealing to the public to be cautious when approached by strangers of any gender.

Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects should contact Lieutenant Colonel Lucia Madinginye: 082 568 4589 or call Crime Stop: 08600-101-11.

Earlier this month, a woman was arrested for allegedly raping a man in Bolobedu, Limpopo.

The woman (46) allegedly raped a man (26) after asking him to do some chores for her when he walked past her house.

“She lured him into the house, locked the door, undressed him and raped him for the whole night,” police said.
