CCTV footage shows police and community policing forum (CPF) members raiding an alleged drug house in Luipaard Street in Krugersdorp during a monthly raid.

After breaking open the house, police found suspected sex workers sleeping on rotten mattresses and condoms thrown on the floors, Krugersdorp News reported.

Small unused plastic bank bags were found on every corner of the house, indicating that drugs are packaged and sold from this house, police said.

Glass pipes used to smoke crystal meth, rocks and nyaope were hidden in some of the windowsills, police added.

The house was believed to be owned by a foreigner who also has shares in the shop on the corner, and allegedly rents out a room for R100 a month.

Police also discovered illegally connected electricity wires wrapped untidily against the dirty walls.

Last week, Three men and a woman were arrested when Tshwane Metro police discovered a drug laboratory and drugs valued between R1 million and R3 million in Onderstepoort, Pretoria.

Upon our arrival, police found laboratory equipment, crystal meth, a compressor, two steamers, a bottle marked ‘benzene’, several containers and chemicals and rubber gloves.

It was alleged that one of the suspects had been a Nigerian national.
